Support Pellet Map
We are continuing to build our geographic dataset of small mammal communities, while also expanding out ability to offer even more students a unique, fun, and interesting way to become citizen scientists. To date, our project has reached over 350 students from 11 elementary and middle schools located throughout Oregon. Pellet Map has provided these students, or “partner scientists”, an opportunity to contribute to scientific research while learning about predators and prey, skeletal anatomy, and biogeography of the Pacific Northwest.
